When choosing a wedding photographer, you need to be sure what is included. I am always flexible because there will be a difference between a small wedding package and a large wedding package, there are so many variables, however the following are some of the factors that you need to think about to help choose the right wedding package for you.
Always get it in writing so there are no awkward conversations when you receive your wedding photographs.
Generally most wedding photographers will explain everything and you won't have any problems. You just need to decide on what you want for example:
Do you want an album? If so, what type of album and how many pages? Some albums can be very expensive!
Do you get hi-resolution images that you can print from?
Do you get the copyright?
Is the photographer there for a fixed time, will overtime be charged?
How many photographs will be taken?
How many people will be at the ceremony?
How many people are attending the evening wedding party?
Are there two locations, one for the ceremony and one for the wedding breakfast and evening party?
Does it include a second wedding photographer?
I believe transparency and honesty are the best way to be with my clients. I always ask them exactly what they want and tailor it around them. What I don't do is persuade people to pay for things they don't nee and take lots of meaningless pictures just to boost the number of wedding pictures I present to my clients
